As the first quarter of 2021 comes to a close, state legislatures are well into their sessions working on passing legislation. Below, we give a bit of background on many of the bills that could affect medical spas that we have been tracking.
Some have already become law, and some have failed to pass. Most, however, are in some phase of the long and convoluted process that bills go through to become law. Please keep in mind that few bills will eventually pass, and the ones that do may be amended or altered from their original language.
We are continuing to monitor and report on new developments and look forward to the second quarter.
