Merz Aesthetics, the world’s largest dedicated medical aesthetics business, today announced Teyana Taylor as the latest Xeomin (incobotulinumtoxinA) brand partner. The U.S. partnership with Taylor is a continuation of the ground-breaking ‘Beauty on Your Terms’ campaign for Xeomin and represents the first time the entertainer has partnered with an aesthetics brand. Xeomin (pronounced phonetically: Zeo-min) is an FDA-approved double filtered anti-wrinkle injection to temporarily improve the appearance of frown lines with only the ingredients that work and none that don’t.
“I always strive to understand the ingredients in any product I’m using and listen to trusted sources like my doctors when choosing what’s right for my specific skin type,” said 31-year-old Taylor. “I had never tried an aesthetic treatment before, so it was important to choose a product that gives me consistent results without any unnecessary ingredients. That’s why I chose Xeomin for my frown lines.”
Teyana Taylor is a singer-songwriter, actor, dancer and choreographer known for her melodic vocals and dynamic dance moves from the studio to the stage. On top of her three successful studio albums, Taylor most recently starred in Paramount Pictures Coming 2 America and can be seen as the main character in the upcoming A.V. Rockwell featured debut A Thousand And One.
“There are still a lot of stigmas around injectable treatments, especially for women of color – thinking it is not as safe or effective for a variety of skin types,” said Dr. DiAnne Davis, board-certified dermatologist. “But, this is simply untrue. You can still celebrate who you are and embrace desired treatments for anti-aging results. Partnerships like this with Teyana and Xeomin show that aesthetic treatments can be an option for all skin types in producing a natural-looking result.”
