Merz Aesthetics, a medical aesthetics business whose purpose is to help fuel confidence, is celebrating opening day of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) by furthering their investment in women’s sports as they mark their third consecutive year of partnership with the North Carolina Courage. The Courage are set to take the field at WakeMed Soccer Park Saturday evening as they face off against the Houston Dash in what is sure to be an action-packed event.
Here’s what you can expect:
- A chance to give back to the local community! Merz Aesthetics community partner, Dress for Success Triangle, will be onsite at the game collecting gently used purses and work bags at their mobile “Confidence Boutique” located at the WakeMed Stadium entrance. Those who donate will be entered into a raffle to win a signed jersey.
- A grand debut of the new team jerseys: For the first time in the National Women’s Soccer League’s 11-year history, every team will have a brand-new kit for the season ahead. Get a live look at the Courage’s new jerseys, which were designed by tapping into the Raleigh culture and lifestyle.
- Recognizing community impact: Merz Aesthetics will present the inaugural “Woman of the Match” award at halftime to Heather Dennis, Executive Director of Dress for Success Triangle, recognizing her dedication to empowering and inspiring confidence for those in and around the Triangle.
Since partnering with the NC Courage in 2022, Merz Aesthetics has been at the forefront of the latest landscape shift toward an increased investment in women’s sports. Data from the Sports Innovation Lab shows that 83% of brands plan to increase their media investment in women’s sports this year. Merz Aesthetics is proud to once again be serving as the front-of-jersey sponsor for the 2024 season, continuing the milestone partnership that continues to fuel confidence and empower women in and beyond the Triangle.
Opening day is taking place at 7PM ET on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at WakeMed Soccer Park, 101 Soccer Park Dr, Cary, North Carolina, 27511.
