No Brow Lifts for 'Handsome' Men

Surgeons should strongly consider not doing brow lifts in men, as this may make them "strange looking” and take away something that by all accounts seems to be an attractive feature, according to Phoenix, Ariz., cosmetic surgeon A. Chasby Sacks, M.D., who presented “Why Brow Lifts Should Perhaps NOT be Done on Men” yesterday at the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery’s (AACS’s) 2017 annual scientific meeting in San Diego, Calif.
“… almost all movie celebrities considered either interesting looking or handsome invariably have low slung eyebrows and full upper eyelids with apparent excess upper eyelid skin, giving them what appears to be, at least in our culture, their most attractive features,” Dr. Sacks tells Cosmetic Surgery Times.
