Merz Aesthetics is launching Merz Aesthetics Medical Forum, an online medical aesthetics education platform for health care professionals around the world.
Established by Merz Aesthetics Global Medical Affairs, the Medical Forum provides on-demand content focused on medical aesthetics innovations and research to create more accessible scientific exchange.
“With virtual education here to stay, the medical aesthetics professional community expressed the need for an on-demand, interactive platform they can tailor to their educational needs and busy schedules,” says Terri Phillips, MD, Chief Medical Affairs Officer, Merz Aesthetics, in a news release. “The Merz Aesthetics Global Medical Affairs team is thrilled to offer the Medical Forum worldwide to health care professionals interested in staying on the forefront of cutting-edge science and advancing their practices.
The Merz Aesthetics Medical Forum will house educational content on topics related to the medical aesthetics industry and will present material through videos. The platform will offer access to anatomy dissections, injection demonstrations, live-streamed and recorded lectures and expert-led sessions, as well as the Medical Inquiry Assistant, designed to learn the specific interests of each user to help identify the content right for them. Also available on the platform is the first all-digital issue of The Merz Aesthetics Scales, an objective measurement tool, created by a multi-function panel of experts, that provides a universal language of aging. The tool helps to facilitate communication between health care professionals and patients about the aging process and is designed to provide clear expectations and an objective assessment of the outcome of medical aesthetics treatments.
