Moxie, a leading growth and operating platform for aesthetic practices, has announced the formation of its Aesthetic Business Advisory Board. This strategic move aims to help independent medical spas navigate mounting challenges, including private equity-backed consolidation, heightened consumer awareness and increasing competition from larger chains with deep pockets.

The Advisory Board brings together recognized clinical and business leaders in aesthetics to guide Moxie’s product strategy, educational roadmap and leadership coaching programs. Members include:

  • Erika Barry, MSN, NP-C, “Injector Bunny,” founder of Resculpt Aesthetics;
  • Olivia Salmen, NP-C, one of only 350 certified plastic surgical nurses in the United States;
  • Dr. Alexander Rivkin, Founder of Rivkin Aesthetics and pioneer of the Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty;
  • Dr. Gretchen Frieling (“Dr. G”), MD, Founder of GFaceMD;
  • Allie McAllister, NP-C, co-founder of CULT Aesthetics, CULT Aesthetics Conferences, and Squeeze Skin;
  • Jonathan LeSuer, FNP-C, founder of Tox & Pout Aesthetics;
  • Dr. David Saadat, CEO of Beverly Hills Aesthetic Surgical Institute;
  • Limor Weinberg, NP, Founder of The Clinic USA;
  • David Weir, NP-C, clinical investigator for the FDA;
  • Libby Dysart, Co-founder of Resculpt Aesthetics; and
  • Brittany Bureski, Founder of The B Aesthetic Business Advisory.

“Leveraging the collective power of hundreds of individual practices, Moxie provides services and pricing that would be otherwise out of reach for the average aesthetic office," said Dr. Alexander Rivkin in a release.

Moxie currently supports more than 600 practices nationwide, offering an integrated platform that combines EMR, online booking, CRM, payments, memberships, compliance alerts, financial dashboards, and marketing automation. Each client is paired with a dedicated Practice Success Manager for personalized business coaching and accountability.

In addition to the Advisory Board, Moxie introduced Scale Society, a private community designed to foster collaboration among aesthetic professionals. Scale Society will offer in-person and virtual opportunities, including expert-led workshops, networking events, and access to Moxie’s expert network and Advisory Board.
