More Brides Are Heading to the Med Spa Before Tying the Knot

According to a survey by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS), it is now common practice for brides-to-be to receive medical spa treatments before walking down the aisle.
“Essentially weekly, I see patients who request aesthetic ‘help’ before an upcoming social event. For example, brides and other members of a wedding party have frequently scheduled appointments at the same time. Fillers and neuromodulators can provide some very nice touchups,” says Fred G. Fedok, M.D., president of the AAFPRS.
